Celebrating 30 Years of Leadership at the 2026 Tech Innovadores Awards

On February 10, 2026, the Hispanic Technology and Telecommunications Partnership (HTTP) proudly hosted the Tech Innovadores Awards 2026 — a powerful evening honoring leaders who are expanding digital opportunity and strengthening communities through innovation.

This year’s celebration was especially meaningful. As HTTP marks 30 years of national Latino leadership, we reflect on three decades of working alongside technology and telecommunications leaders to expand digital access and create economic opportunity across the United States. For thirty years, our mission has remained clear: to ensure Latino communities are connected and thriving in the digital economy at every level.

Honoring Leaders Driving Digital Opportunity

Tech Innovadores recognizes policy entrepreneurs, builders, and changemakers advancing practical solutions that bring more people online, foster innovation, and strengthen America’s digital future.

This year’s honorees and distinguished guests included:

  • Congressman Rob Menendez

  • Congressman David Valadao

  • Nicholas P. Garcia, Senior Policy Counsel, Public Knowledge

  • Carmen Scurato, Senior Policy Counsel, Ben Ray Luján

  • John Lin, Senior Counsel, House Committee on Energy and Commerce

  • Natali Betancur, Deputy Director, Center for Digital Equity at Queens University of Charlotte

  • Cecilia Corral, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, CareMessage

  • Alejandra Montoya-Boyer, Vice President, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights

  • Josselin Castillo, Professional Staff Member, House Committee on Ways and Means

Across advocacy, education, small business growth, healthcare innovation, and legislative leadership, these honorees represent the forward-thinking leadership needed to close digital divides and create lasting impact.

Innovation Rooted in Community

The evening highlighted how innovation is most powerful when it is rooted in community. From advancing broadband access and digital equity initiatives to championing telehealth, small business empowerment, and civil rights protections in emerging technologies, each leader exemplifies what it means to move technology and communities forward — together.

Their work reminds us that digital access is not just about infrastructure. It is about economic mobility. It is about educational opportunities. It is about civic participation. And it is about ensuring that Latino communities are not only connected — but leading.

A Night of Vision, Collaboration, and Momentum

The 2026 Tech Innovadores Awards was more than a celebration — it was a gathering of visionaries. Leaders from across industry, policy, advocacy, and community organizations came together to network, exchange ideas, and recommit to a shared cause: building a stronger, more inclusive digital future.

As HTTP enters its next chapter, we carry forward 30 years of impact with renewed urgency and optimism. The work continues, and with leaders like these, the future is bright.
